Our roots
We didn’t start out building accessible bathrooms.
For years our craft was high-end bathroom installation — meticulous detailing, architectural finishes, and work we were proud to put our name to across Lancashire.
The shift came closer to home. Designing for ageing family members, we realised beauty alone wasn’t enough. The room had to keep people safe tomorrow without looking clinical today.
Hidden structural support, slip-resistant surfaces, and step-free access were engineered into luxury suites. The truth became obvious: future-proofing doesn’t mean sacrificing style.
Today ProActive Bathrooms stands for both pillars equally — contemporary luxury and specialist accessible design — delivered with the same standard of care.
