Transforming a Family Home in the Ribble Valley
We recently completed a stunning transformation in the Ribble Valley for a family who needed to urgently future-proof their home, but were adamant that they did not want to sacrifice their high-end aesthetic.
The Brief
The clients had an elderly parent moving in with them. Their existing main bathroom featured a high-sided, slippery bathtub and poor lighting, making it a hazardous environment for anyone with limited mobility. However, because it was still the primary bathroom for the rest of the family, they specifically requested that the new design shouldn't look like a "hospital room."
The ProActive Solution
Over the course of just 7 days, our team completely stripped the room back to the brickwork to ensure our structural wall linings could be installed perfectly.
We removed the hazardous over-bath shower and replaced it with a fully flush, level-access wet room floor. We utilised premium anti-slip tiles that look like natural stone but provide exceptional grip, even when soaking wet.
Concealed Safety
To maintain the luxury feel, we integrated beautifully designed folding seating and sourced custom-finished grab rails that perfectly matched their modern brassware. The safety features blend seamlessly into the architecture of the room.
The Result
By combining architectural luxury with concealable safety features, we created a space that functions as a fully accessible wet room for their parent, whilst remaining a stunning, spa-like sanctuary for the rest of the family.
The clients were thrilled with the result, noting that the zero-pressure design process and the tidiness of our installation team made the entire week completely stress-free.
